  1. DrNB Neonatology Superspecialty Training

The goal of the Neonatology program is to provide specialized training in Neonatology to produce competent super specialists. These specialists will be capable of providing care of the highest order to the newborn infants in the community as well as clinical tertiary care centers. They would subsequently serve as teachers, trainers, researchers and leaders in the field of Neonatology. Candidates are selected as per their merit in NEET SS examination.

Our unit is the first in the country to be accredited with DNB neonatology program (Post MD Neonatology training) equivalent to DM Neonatology in the year 2005. Our pass percentage in the last 19 years of our DNB program is more than 95% and we always attracted the first two candidates selected in the common entrance test. Our students have won the Best DNB fellow award multiple times. We now have collaboration with other institutions in the country conducting DNB and DM programs and do exchange program and sharing data for better learning skill of our postgraduates.

 

  1. National Neonatology Fellowship Training Program

The unit also runs a one year course of Fellowship in Neonatology under the aegis of National Neonatology Forum since 2010. The selection of candidates is based on written theory examination and interview held at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

 

  1. GRIPMER Fellowship

The institute also runs one year program of GRIPMER fellowship in Neonatology. The application for the same is to be submitted to GRIPMER.
