Dr Neelam Kler has been working in the field of neonatology for more than 35 years. She has been conferred the ‘Padma Bhusan Award’ by the president of India in 2014 for outstanding contribution in the field of neonatology and childcare. She has been bestowed by several awards and titles in health care sector. She is adjunct professor on National Board of Examination and has been examiner for DNB Neonatology, Pediatrics and various fellowship exams. She has held important positions in various organizations that includes President -National Neonatology Forum 2009-2010, Secretary General-Federation of Asia Oceania Perinatal Societies, editor Journal of Neonatology 2002-2006 and has held eminent positions on international and national scientific panels. She has to her credit more than 100 indexed publications and has authored several chapters in various textbooks on neonatology. Currently, Dr Kler is Advisor, Department of Neonatology, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and honorary professor of Indrapastra University.
